Hello all,

Got my first detector tonight. It an Adventure Ridge that was last released by ALDI back in DEC_2015, still new/sealed in box never used. Total set me back about $100 ($60 for the detector + fuel & 4hrs driving hmm)

Will have to read the instructions on how to use, then go out swinging (when the rain stops) smile

Bats well above its weight. Grab yourself a pin pointer for sure. Good purchase!

Thanks Guys smile

Thanks Heatho smile. I just stuck it on all metal for now, just to try get a feel for it.

One thing I'm trying to get use it is how it detects. When you swing over an area and it beeps, does it detect the item at the centre of the coil or outside ?

Put a target on top of a bit of ground that is clear of all sounds below deck, then you will be able to visually identify where the target is locating below the coil. wink wink

It detects in the centre, you need a reasonably fast swing speed also, not too fast but not too slow either.
