yep i agree,however having said that i did get 2 1944 florins and 2 pennies down about 8 inches.just have to wind it back a bit.Dont be worried about it being complicated it is plug and play mostly,then when you get adventsome you can play with all the settings just to tweak it.

I guess if I am going to learn I may as well buy something that can go that bit further for when I know what I am doing. I might download a manual and familiarize my self with the basics. I hoped to be able to use it at the beach a little but my main aim is nugget hunting.
