help identifying "New to fossicking for gemstones and rocks"

Hi all.

I have made these finds both in QLD, but I unfortunately have no idea what they are? Im new to fossicking and gems and rocks so was seeing if anyone on here might be able to help me identifying these rocks.

Nice looking specimens you've got there Josh but unfortunately as rocks aren't really my area of expertise I have no idea what they could be. I'm sure one of the rock hounds will be able to tell you soon enough.

Word on the street is they're chalcedony thunder eggs http://geology.about.com/od/minerals/ig/quartzgallery/chalcedthunderegg.htm

Could you advise on which part of QLD they were found in?

Most definitely thunder eggs.
Good find.
The light one will come up really nice if its cut and polished.
