Heading to rubyvale this week any tips on where to get so sapphires from all help and knowledge greatly appreciated and thank you..

Hi mate,

The wife and I liked Tomahawk Creek Fossicking area which is a half hour drive to the north west of Rubyvale. You can camp inside the fossicking area and you have to be self sufficient as there are no facilities there. Gain a camping permit via the National Parks. Just google Tomahawk Creek Fossicking Area and you will find the Qld Gov link and all the info will be there. We found some nice stones there. Enjoy
