Ok. I'll film the reverse spray bar principal, and the action of the mesh. You will clearly see how the scallops help the stirring.
 
PS, the angle the mesh is attached to has alloy shims of 3mm. This allows you to adjust the heigh off the bottom face for running preferences.
if I was to make another banker again.... I would use the mesh as is first, keep it a single plane, but use the dream mat secondary for sure.

so is your plan to put dream mat in the bottom part of the sluice bed there?
or am i miss understanding your comment above
