Found an interesting stone, please help identify

Hello,

I have been trying to find out what kind of stone I found whilst camping on a property at Coolmunda (QLD) near Inglewood. I found it amoung lots of quartz. Its specific gravity was testing between 2.5 and 3.0. couldn't get a good streak as it was scratching the plate, any streak colour would have been white. The stone feels smooth, silky and waxy like soapstone.

Agree with shivan. Based on a couple of the faces on the piece it looks like a waste flake from aboriginal tool making.
