Had a stressful week with my dad in hospital and having a procedure on his heart... Long story but he has had a stent inserted in an artery and is doing well. Given him a few more years.

So today I had the chance to de-stress by going detecting for a couple of hours. Went to an old site that I have had great results from. Got most of the finds from a small area. Really need to grid it up to cover it properly. A nice sixpence and a .999 fine silver pendant where the best finds. Taurus... my sign.

Glad your Dads stent went ok RJ, my brother had one, his groin was tender for a while, but he felt better really quickly afterwards energy wise.

That's a great hunt mate, getting the .999 pendant is a real bonus. Detecting is great for clearing the mind, better than meditation.

It is only one pendant.... just showing both sides.

Got out with Rocket yesterday, our first hunt together in quite a while. It's obvious from the results that he chose the locations. Hahaha.
Only one pre decimal which is probably a half penny. It was a nice clear signal reading at 21 to 22 cm on the CTX and Rocket swung his Deus over it and said it was a readable signal but very faint. I found it just over the length of the Pin pointer which is 23 cm. Not bad at all.

At least you'se got a hunt in !

Gotta love the depth of the CTX, it shines in that department. Nice hunt Rod, great to see you getting back into it.

Thanks for sharing the info on how deep the target was, the CTX is certainly an impressive detector. (It is on my wish list among other things....lol.)

Thanks GP. It's an ol' faithful spot. Can always pull at least a few pennies from there. It's given up it's share of silvers as well.
