Correct weight. Yes and its still there. Markers/Cairns of this type were constructed all around and over our great country by many explorers.
I have been to many of them from the Canning stock Route and Alfred Cannings to Pooles Cairn on Mt Poole station near Milparinka. Most of them have great stories.
