I would like to get a collection of cut sapphires and zircons valued professionally. Both for insurance purposes and because I am interested to get some idea of approximate values.
Do I just go to someone who does standard jewellery valuations or would it be better to go to someone that specifically focuses on coloured gems?
I am in Sydney. Is there anyone that you guys have used before and would recommend?
Any idea how much a valuation and/or gem analysis usually costs?
