anyone know of good gem fossicking in south australia n victoria?

my hubby and i are planning a trip to Victoria, if the floods ever subside. i plan to visit Mt Shadwell near Warnambool. is there outher places near there i could fossick. i'm particularly interested in quartz, peridot, any volcanic minerals. i am a Volcanic fan, have scoria specimens already. i also want fossil shark teeth. i also have lava from Mt Hay in Rockhampton. i know smoky quartz can be found at Powelltown, is that the only place? i got heaps of smoky quartz crystal pieces n jellybeans from Tingha. missed out on finding sapphires there though. i also have a large quantity of cubic gyspum and calcite which i am willing to trade for other mineral specimens. i got those from Rocky Creek mine dump in Queensland. if anyone wants info on where to find that site, drop me a line.
