My name is Andrew, been reading the forum for a few months now and thought I better join in, Im from the Newcastle area, I have been interested in metal detecting for a long time, but never had the time or money to invest in the hobby as I already had a lot of other time & money consuming hobbies which I have scaled back, so now I have time to get out for a swing once or twice a week.

I purchased a Garret AT Pro & have been metal detecting for a bit over 12 months now, I have found a lot of pre dec copper and silver a few foreign coins, some nice relics, & learnt a bunch of local history. My oldest coin so far is a 1870 queen Victoria Ceylon.

Hi Wishfull, I found the 1870 at Toronto in a relatives backyard.
