do you push bike out to the gold fields ?

hi all just wondering is there anyone else that rides by bike the green ish way lol out to the goldfields with a metal detector on your back as well as a geo pick gps pan sieve small dolly pot and some other small gear then taking samples of the reefs you find along the way ?

so far my longest ride was 46km out to the gold fields

ha ha at least you can get past those massive bog holes that you can't in a 4wheel drive

I'd need a kip after 40+ km then turn back home. Must be a great sight seeing you riding all panned up, good on you. Plenty of time to reflect on the day on the way home.

Yep I ride all the time. My day starts at 5:30AM and I catch a tram to the city where I change to a train for about an hour, then a 20 min bus trip, pick up my push bike and ride about 15klm to my camp site. Then go feral! And loving it!
