North QLD / TOWNVILLE METAL DETECTING/ FOSSICKING CLUBS

HI forum readers,

is there any clubs/ associations or get togethers for the far north region at all. if not are other forum people interested in tag alongs/ get togethers one in a month or two and try out some know or random areas ?

I am the vice president of the "Townsville Metal Detecting Club" we generally have a trip planned each month with exception of the wet season.

I'm based in Cairns at the moment, work are talking about extending my contract so I would be interested in joining the club too and any club activities I could tag along on.

Hey Steve,

If you go to the Townsville Prospecting shop on Ross River Rd he would be able to give you all the info for the club. I don't think they are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Your call but I stay away from detecting clubs.
