A mate at work gave this old beastie to me.
He bought it new and hardly used it. Been in his ceiling for 20 Plus years
A little bit of research and it seems it was a pretty good machine in it's a day.
Came with a small and large coil. 6 And 12 Inch.
Looking forward to doing some comparison work with it and my AT Pro.

A little more research on this machine...
Working at Bounty Hunter in 1975, Jack Gifford and Ray Crum, decided to form their own metal detecting company (C&G Technology), which they founded in 1976. C&G was successful with a number of Jack Gifford's designs (the Bobcat, Lynx and the Wildcat). Of course Jack Gifford founded Tesoro Electronics in 1980.

Not too bad for free :D, would be a good one to keep in the back of the car for those unexpected urges.

That brings back memories. That was one of the first detectors I used for gold. I didn't find any with it though as it had poor depth and quickly got onto the Garret Groundhog.
