Hi all,

This is the story of my recent build that I have been working on.

A big thanks has to go out to Headsup and Walnliz as I obtained assistance in parts and advice for this build.

This contraption started out as a standard Jobe 45" sluice.

With a quick look around the internet and some scrap sheets of 2mm aluminium sitting in the workshop, I got to work.

The first modification to my contraption was to build a power sluice head and some of the places I go have plenty of water but no flow.

Hey mate,

Awesome work, cant wait to see it in action. Looks light and portable.

Show me the GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I thought to myself, now I need another sluice, one as a river sluice, one as a power sluice. I now realise that it's impossible to use both at the same time, but that wasn't going to stop me.

Creation was then given to a new 1.5m sluice.

Both the power head and the river flare can now fit both sluices.

Knuckle dragging Man Mode has now fully kicked in and there is no such thing as "it won't work".

What if if all fitted together?...........

Size does matter

Hang on a bit. I've seen people make highbankers. Lets have a crack at this.

More aluminium from the workshop and a teflon 8 mm mesh teflon cake tray.

and Presto!!!! the Sluice-N-Banker is born.

All put together.

The rato pump has been ordered this week to match this kit.

I now have 3 combinations of river sluice, power sluice and highbanker as all of the modules are interchangeable.

Let the testing begin.

I like it. The square mesh is my only concern. It can be a bit restrictive in allowing material through, Grizzly bars or less uniform holes (like 1.5 or better to 1 rather than 1 to 1 ratio) helps for faster processing to feed that great beast you have crafted so well. Great share.

nice accurate work from the sheetmetal division ;)

what size pump have you got coming ?

is that 25 x 3 flat bar holding up the grizzly department ?

you might find a 40 x 6 flat bar will stay unbentified if you shovel like me , however looking at the cake tray you will have to remove big rocks before shovelling into it

rocks under 50 mm should pass over okay without damaging the mesh at a guestimate

good work gungadin . go forth and shovel hard :)
