Fossicking rules for N.T , (permit no longer required )

Since the end of last year , you no longer require a fossicking permit to fossick in the Northern Territory. You are free to fossick in any public fossicking areas. If you intend to fossick on ELs or Pastoral land you need to give the EL and/or Pastoralist a Notice of Intent to be recd by them 7 days prior to you entering the area.
