Spring Show

2014 Spring Gem Show 15 & 16 November 2014

The Canberra Lapidary Club's next event is its Spring Gem Show.

The Spring Show will be held in the Mallee Pavilion at EPIC (Exhibition Park off the Federal Highway, Canberra) on Saturday 15 November and Sunday 16 November from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

Entry cost is $5 adults, $9 family, $2 children/concession.

A wide variety of rough and cut gemstones, jewellery, minerals, fossils, opals, crystals, beading supplies and lapidary equipment will be for sale.

Members will demonstrate how to grind and polish rock into cabochons, and how to facet stones into sparkling gems.

Club members collections will be on display, and there will be free fossicking and gold detecting sessions.

Champion Jaros, now where is the thumbs up

No worries Jaros nothing wrong with bein eager, I think someone might have got a bit behind too. Great show was nice to meet some from the forum even if their sapphire finds weren't cutters "opaque" crystals from Grabben Gullen.About 2% from there are cutters. Looking forward to Oallen gathering this weekend.
