Mate id love to help you but im absolutely flat. If you can tig you are welcome to come over any time during the day and go for it... I just dont have the time brother

It's the same story with anyone good mate especially this time of year. I'll have a word to a couple places and get back to you. A guy who did mig and tig welding for me (pretty experienced) was looking for a few cashies about two months ago too, he's set up with an aly mig but I've never seen his aly work if that helps. Let me know if you want me to pass your details on. Another mate not long got into it too but he works rotating roster and again I haven't had any samples done... It's a tough one to crack.

What started this wasnt an idea, i needed a riffle at the top of my old HB that i converted to expanded and cause i was 1 hr from town all i could find was a length of 40mm steel angle behind dads shed. Puting expanded in this section wasnt an idea either, after another experiment i did with the sluice i ended up with a bolt and expended in that section i filled in from the experiment. Because the hieght of the 40mm riffle is impotant i just took the moss out and left the expanded to see what would happen and bingo...it works awsome...

Love it 20x, awesome build, a lot of time and thought has gone into those builds, it's a credit to you mate ;) 10points for the spirit levels, saves a lot of time setting up and making sure it hasn't changed angles when loading.
Can't wait to see the pics of the big girls in action, :D

Gotta say 20x that its one of the sexiest builds I've seen in a long time
Its a credit to you and your persistence.
I hope it chokes with gold on your first run mate....
Great job

That's a piece of art mate. Can't wait see some pictures of it in action. :)
Is that v mat under the expended in the top sluice? I assume that's where most of the gold will drop?
I like the built in spray bars but how do you clean them if they clogg up?

Im glad you asked this question...

Ive sluiced with water loaded with debree and no extra filter cage around the suction hose filter, it was the small sticks that clogged the jets and i just kept pulling them through with a thin piece of hooked wire. After weeks of dealing with this i thought i would take the pvc spray bars apart for a clean out and amazingly found them empty.

I think it a filter cage is the answer to avoiding this problem at that end. I thought of this problem way before i started designing the built in spray bars. Option A would be to drill out say a 10mm hole at the end of the bars and tap some thread into it so i can install a bleeder/flush bolt. Option B would be to weld another 45 degree piece to the end of the spray bars angled to the outside of the hopper and thread the ends for screw caps.

thanx for asking the question mate

cheers
