Looking for ideas if anyone can help? What methods can be used if there's no water for panning and to far to carry a dry washer. I could try dry panning but has anyone got a easy method that can fit in a day pack?

I saw a vid on youtube a while back... some guy built a 6 volt blower, and mini dry washer, it was a bit bigger than a day pack, but not so big..
It was a brilliant design.
Just searched for it, can't find it..
Dry panning works IF the material is really dry.. if not, you'll throw all the gold out of the pan though I'm sure you know that..

Its a big vacuum.. if the greenies get after you, Just tell them you're "cleaning up the environment'

Apparently a vibrating pan on a board works well but can't scrape up much info on design if I could build a design that worked well Iv got a heap of minelab batt packs I can use.
