Got to test out the mini gold rat. I am hooked. Plenty of gold with little cons. Didnt find a speck in the tailing. So pretty happy with that!

Mini Gold Rats are great aren't they-you have the proof.

Nice gold. Is that the mini cleanup sluice with pump? Ive got the 6 sluice and its great when the creeks run (roughly never here in the last couple of years), so am about to press buy on the mini + pump.

Meanwhile, I had a rest day from work, so went crevicing and panning in a new spot that gave me a good test when I last visited.
Didnt find anything heavy, but every pan had a lot of pieces and they added up okay.

Its just the river sluice. I have made legs and a header for it. Running 1100 bildge pump. Works a treat!

Thought I would do a 10lt gold pan today

Moved back down south from New and was bagging up some pay dirt then thought I would do a test pan of 10lt bucket. The gold in mine only appeares to be tiny but a lot of it

Nsw* bloody spell check can't spell.

Been testing out the desert fox spiral wheel on dirt that I have panned before . Panning skills might need improvement. Kept a couple of hesham bags from a spot i detectected between drake and warrick and ran them through the Fox with surprising results . Ended up with an extra ounce on the first run plus with dirt still to put through .

Hi Mickomarlin, mate would you have a pic of the header box end of your sluice. I have a river sluice the same as yours which I would like to turn into a recirculating sluice, I have the 1100 pump, hose, just got to make up the box and legs.
