Hog Pan- Does this thing really work?

Recently bought this from GoldHog.com. Hopefully it will help me find the good stuff!

Looks like it works but it looks to large and heavy for my liking. I can go just as quick or quicker with the garret super sluice and a classifier.
But thats just my opinion.

Got mine a few months ago. it has been extensively worked every opportunity i get to escape. It is easy to overload it and have to work too hard. But it is great as a clay buster. Only failed once when i was in pure clay; i needed to break it up with my delicate fingers. Otherwise, i am very happy with mine.

A new problem is now appearing here in Vic. the creeks are drying to the extent that there is not enough water to use to pan/wash. i will have to start carting in my own water this week.
