Got out today for a bit, took the youngest ones for a coastal foray.
heres the entirety of it.

Plain 1943 3d this time, last one was a 1943D 3d on the above hunt.


5c size but rang up as a high tone, had me happy out on the hunt.

Both sides had full encrustation adherance

So, I threw it in the S&V at home

taking its time to come round though.

But, it is slowly doing so for me.

We'll see how it fares by morning.
At least I know it's a 1962 6d now.

Finally the S&V has done its job.
End result.


Just need to CAB that 1943 3d next.

Numbers arse about face ,... should read 1923, not 1932.
Dancing all around it, must be gunnsa get one soon.

Coupla keys, left says BRIGGS and STRATTON(I like that).

Well $6.00 is better than nuthin, and a halfpenny is better than a kick in the pants I suppose.(ha)

The chrome / silvet mabey pewter 'bit' from 3rd of june hunt is from a necklace, I used to have mabey they same one. I love that tractor too. Never seen a pidgeon ring, cheers. Silver, your car is most likely a Lesney Ford Prefect, nice beach hunt with the Ace.

Looking a lot like it going by the bonnet ornament Gp, and even by the color, would be nice to own even one brand new unused Lesney vehicle mint in the box.

Ebay is your friend! Around $130-140 for a mint Prefect with original box - could get expensive.

That's why I'd be happy with just one then I think ,... especially at that price !

I checked my steering wheel and it seems to be metal instead of the plastic I thought it was gunna be.
Always makes me feel good finding the old Lesneys ,.... just that they don't come out the ground looking how a hotwheels can in a sandpit.
