No idea if this is Ag or a junker. Marks are on outside of ring a hexagon type one and something else..found 1800s church nature strip
 
Maybe the apprentice jeweller was making a ring for his girly friend and during the cutting out process stamped the outside by mistake.... and the jeweller being a bit of a mug to a time waster had the poor old apprentice fi ish it off inside out as a lesson.
probably makes it a one off from the past.

Certainly a great find.... good stones go with gold :p

I read on some forums that the Eastern European countries used to mark their rings on the outside??

Was this from South Australia (city of churches)? Well done.

Shit silver I didn't even notice the 'winged horse' lol I was looking on my lunch real today trying to find a hexagonal makers mark but came up with nothing

That might be 9Ct... possibility
or could it be for the stone.... 1Ct

Yea it was 30-32 Dave so I'm thinking it's silver, actually I'd have to double check that now.
So I just checked, it's saying 25/26?
