Hi Guy's and Gal's. Happy to be apart of the detectorist community. took the SDC 2300 out for the first time today... Fantastic finds. Tent peg, bottle top and 3 bits of ally trash . feel a bit like Forrest Gump. But enjoyed all of it. If ther is a club of detectorist around newcastle and hunter, i would be keep to catch up.

Welcome aboard moreccs.... success comes in waves of tent pegs and bottle tops... but eventually you dig below the crest of jetsom and flotsom of society that hides the goodies.

Nobbies Beach Newcastle
Might be a good starting point to meet other like minded people & if there are any clubs or talk of any starting up then Clegy might know about them.
