Any chance you can clean this coin up a bit mineallmine as I think I can vaguely see the harp design in your first photo.May not be this coin but several Irish coins had the harp design on them.Could be an Irish farthing.

If it.were yours, what method of cleaning would you choose? It's pretty toasted as you can see..I'm assuming it's copper? Lemon juice and salt?
