G'day,
Another interesting find, This time by my folks back in Gippsland, Victoria.
Would anyone have any info behind this? Date etc
The inner text says, Honi soit qui mal y pense and according to wikipedia it is a Middle French maxim, meaning "shamed be whoever thinks bad of it", usually translated as "shame on anyone who thinks evil of it" used as the motto of the British chivalric Order of the Garter.
