Just bought a larger coil,a 12X13 inch Nel Tornado to get better signals and locate deeper finds. This coil rates 8.5/10 for sensitivity to small objects less than 1 gram so it is a good all rounder.Does anyone know why the width of the coil is larger than the height? and what is the advantage there. This coil is a whopping 6 inches wider than my 11X7 inch standard coil and I expect the signals will be easier to locate.
