A LADY - A HOLDEN - AND A MATTRESS - TRUE STORY

A lady ran over an innerspring mattress on the Pacific Highway just north of Sydney , decided not to worry and kept driving

It got caught on the undercarriage etc of the Holden .

The ensuing jumble finally whipped around enough to tear a hole in the fuel tank .

The subsequent lack of fuel finally brought the Holden to its knees .

She had managed to drive 50kms with a 25kg tangle of " stuff " tangled around her drive shaft

She had it towed to her Holden dealership and complained that the car had " sort of a noise " when she was driving at high speed .

Below are the photos of what they found at her Holden dealership .

The last photo is by far the best .

They can't believe their eyes and are probably still trying to figure out how to remove it !!!

Was actually a Male Jeep driver that did this. The earliest mention of this story i could find dates back to 2008.

Old story and I think it was in the USA.

It came to me as an email , I just passed it on . Someone has obviously adapted the story to " Australian Conditions " .
I thought it was a bit of a laugh , probably something my wife would do
