I've downloaded some templates for cabochons and the place suggested to use those very thin plastic type cutting boards to cut them out of, but I'm needing some suggestions as to what to use to cut them out with.

Would a coping saw be ok. ?
Or a fine point in a small electric soldering iron ?
An electric jigsaw wouldn't get around the small curves.

cheers Keith

Might be a job for the drill nibbler? I used one to cut corrugated sheet ends, stainless and akuminium sheet, it will do plastics, not sure if it will do your specific plastic.

Certainly any shape you can come up with its able to do.

Forgive me if its not suitable just throwing it out there, easy to obtain, cheap, easy to use.
