About 8 park hunts with the nox, and finally got a silver. I am finding lots of BBs at depth in trashy soil, so I am not really failing with it. I just know the Deus didnt struggle, but its a much more expensive machine, and I had many hours on it. I need to bury some small silvers and figure it out. 1953 florin I think.

Nice mate, definitely not failing with it at all, silvers I think are just getting harder to find with so many people detecting these days. You know yourself that it's a numbers game and if you're getting bb's at depth then silvers will eventually be found.

Yes, Heatho it's not easy anymore. I am happy just to enjoy hunting, but want be sure I am not missing whats left. Pulled two full silver 6p today. They were good signals amongst iron.

Don't worry, I did a 100km round trip yesterday resulting in only two coins, though getting out and being active is the main aim for me these days. Then again I did pretty good last night cleaning up some missed areas on the predecs.
Have you tried upping the recovery speed Rocket, you'll get better target separation but a loss in depth. I've been running mine at 7.

I ran these settings today, and the nox found coins were it didn't last week, and were I had used the Deus. I was really surprised, these were deep grotty coins in really trashy soil.

Glad you are having success with the new program, might give me incentive to try something similar on my Nox 600 and give the Deus a well earnt break.
