Hi all,

So I've been lurking around the forums on and off a few years now and finally pulled the trigger on an equinox 600. Only problem it turned up the day iso restrictions were put in place so it's gathered dust ever since.

Finally got out tonight to a local park. Stuck to the play area scratching around in the sand as I'm in no hurry to go digging up the park until I've got the hang of it.

Most importantly, my finds for the night....
- $1.25
- 2 pull rings
- 3 bottle tops
- 1 sinker

Woo

Off to the beach with a mate tomorrow so fingers crossed for some better luck.

Oh and if anyone can tell me how to upload photos it would be appreciated. Always tells me my files to big :awful:

Quick swing tonight at a quiet beach. Myself and a mate still learning the nox.

Didn't expect much more than lots of trash but came away with $4 and a 925 ring that needs a good clean up.

That's a pretty thing - I bet it was a thrill seeing that emerge from the sand!
The stones look like amethyst and zircons to me and very nice too: well done! :Y:

Not so much my thrill, that one goes to my mate. Still exciting to see though.

I'm saving myself for the gold lol
