Hey all

Im a pannner who just took a step into the sluice world. Just a 6 Gold Rat.
Wanting to get using this to try it out.
Only flowing water Ive seen so far is Warrandyte practice creek (Andersons).

Any hints to creeks with flow within a few hours drive of Melbourne.
Might be good to get some fresh air with all this stress on society lately.

Catch yah

Good info, Swinging & digging - thanks for sharing. Looks like a DRAFT doc - I wonder when/if any of these proposed changes will be finalised or legislated?

Also, this list of exempt rivers/streams doesn't include Hoddles - is there a more current list?

That's the list I'm using, so I'd hate to get into trouble if it's not current!

Hoddles Creek is a tributary of the Yarra River and is definitely a banned creek! It always has been exempt, guys!

ANY river or creek above the Plenty River, that is a tributary of the Yarra River, is exempt. The Anderson's Creek area is the only exception.

Learn your regulations guys - it says that on the Exempt list.
