I was out panning at Oallen once and seen a small fish take off in the shallows which I reckon was a small bass.Ive also seen carp hanging rotting in the trees out there.There is some nice sized freshwater shrimp in the river as well,a bass would love them as a bait.

They try up well with butter too !

Ha, some places have abundance of 25mm shrimp.
Seafood cat biscuits are great in shrimp traps.
And don't pong if you leave the traps your car after using them.
ZAP them in hot butter whole on toast!
Salt,pepper....
