Tent heaters

Hi ladies and gents

I've been looking for ways to safely heat a tent during winter and come across these.

Has anyone used one or a similar product?

I have seen plenty of these type type of tent heaters for sale but they look dodgy AF and are an accident just waiting to happen

Have had one for 3 years great heater also runs on bbq bottle,turns off with the slightest bump very safe but would depend on the size of your tent, mine is quiet large

Have one of these, great unit, as with Jackpots, auto shut off if knocked. We generally only use it in the annexe where there is plenty of ventilation, let it filter thru into tent if need be. We also use an adapter hose to larger lpg bottle.

Yep we have one also and found it a great area warmer, tent, camper and caravan.

Heat a tent :lol: :lol: :lol: you made my day :Y: take your wife, girlfriend or one that needs to be warned seriously build a fire empty the eski if the emptying is earlier than predicted top up throw more wood at the ground heater and continue to empty the eski for round 2 :Y: if you don't drink buy a really good jacket.

I was fully aware that I would have to hand in my manly man card once I asked the question.

The two best tent/camp heaters that have been tried tested used and abused for many generations are

Ive seen people passed out face down and melt snow for 8 inches around their perimeter

I take a Hot Water Bottle when Im camping in a Cold area...

Last time I used this method I nearly touched cloth and decided it was an dangerous game

It's not suitable for the young ones though

That works well but if i drink it your tent may disappear and you wipers could get torn of your 4x4 , not a good liquid to install into my system.

Yeah we referred to Bundy as jail juice I've seen some people go totally tropo on the stuff. These days it doesn't seem to have anywhere near the punch it used to (BigWave is the master and his appraisal is the one to confirm my thoughts) my young blokes seem to behave. Yep I'm a parent who allows moderate drinking, can't hurt rather them share a few with me than a wanna be hero.
