Apart from General Permission areas around Warwick I have little knowledge of places to go fossicking.
I live in Brisbane and have tried the beach around Redcliffe and a few local parks.
Any information would be awesome and much appreciated.
I am using a Whites Gold Master GM6100-D.
It is an ancient machine about 35 years old but in mint condition and just love it.
I have looked at heaps of videos and read many articles but would appreciate info from the group.
Cheers Amigo.
Mingo.

Redcliffe is well and truely hammered by the locals and the grey nomads. You have to hit the beach just as the swimmers leave.

Look at Brisbanes history, places that used to be but arent anymore. There are still places that havent been developed yet.

You have an excellent detector. They were icons in their day and still perform well. I would grab a 6000D in a flash if one came up.
I found a lot of gold with a 5000D back in the 70s. In fact I was probably one of the first to do the coasts beaches back then when they were all virgin.
