Very happy to have found this gold ring :Y:
The middle stone is definitely opal and I am wondering if the 2 outside gems are ruby's?
They are slightly different colours which makes me think a real gem and fairly light so I dont think there garnets...
Ring looks to have some age but the only marking is "9kt"
Any ideas? I would have though if it was old there would be other hallmarks?

Very nice ring. Looks early 1900s to me, Lord. My wife loves anything with opals so would've been pleased if I'd brought that home.
What was the TID on the Nox?

I will have to doubble check but from memory it was 17 or 18.
Digging it hoping for a sovereign haha.

Initially though it was a junk ring, was stoked to see the markings when I got home and cleaned it up
 
Nice find Lord - Congrats!

I'd agree that there is an opal and two little rubies but I'd have no idea of age although it does seem oldish What were the other finds nearby? Can you guess age based on the other things around or was it a public area over a long period?

I think I found every monarch from Victoria including decimal goldies so no help there unfortunately.
 
Really nice find, I'd be stoked with finding that.

Most likely rubies, it's very difficult to test weather they are real or created, need a gemologist for that.
