I've been developing and streamlining my processes, forging my own design for a few months. I'm currently making crevicing tools in batches.
These are forged from spring steel, textured for grip then re-hardened and tempered back to a bloody tough little tool.
I've had mine for about a year and it's my best and favourite tool on the bedrock. Designed to fit nicely in your bucket, this tool exacts maximum damage on those tight, gravel packed crevices.
Hit me up with a private message if interested.
Baz.

They look dam good little picks, should last a lifetime
Just wait, someone will ask for a riveted Redgum handle ....too much 'Forged in Fire'..
Does it come with a Redwood handle?
Couldn’t resist DH
Mackka
If you ask for a wooden handle, you shall self administer an uppercut, take ten lashes over the pee-pee with a wet boot lace, then be forever stricken from Bazza's Christmas card list.
So let it be written, so let it be done.
Chris from Vogus just scratched these out with BBB crevicing tool.
Nice work.

Very happy to say I have one of these little beauties in my possession. They are a bloody ripper!!
Get on ‘em!!
Hey they look great, exactly what I've been looking for just recently as I've found an awesome crevicing spot and need to upgrade my toolset (flat head screw driver just isn't cutting it anymore). Have you considered listing them on eBay?

No need for ebay mate. You can just PM me if you want some.
Baz.
Made another batch today. I'm going to build a bigger forge next. Doing these tools half in at a time slows me down a bit.
Hehe I don’t even have a shed anymore let alone a forge, looks like too much fun to me!
Without breaching any copyrights, would you be able to forge a spoon end into your design?
I’d certainly be up for a couple.

The design you see above is my own design mate and I do like to keep things simple. I wouldn't want to copy anyone else's work directly, but as I use the tools on the creek, I have seen the need for different shaped working ends on them. Once I establish this particular tool out there and everyone knows it as a Baz tool, then I will start elaborating on design.
Having said that, so far I have found no better tool than the one I have designed. It is my favourite tool in those gravel packed crevices and has outlasted several bent screwdrivers. It is simple, tough and does a bloody good job.
Baz.
Here's the next batch forged, ready for hardening and tempering tomorrow.
My other half bought one of these amazing tools yesterday and we can't wait to get it out on the creek! I can definitely see it being super useful getting into those deep crevices.
Love the forge mate, interested to see what new designs you come up with in the future Baz

All stamped, ready for hardening and tempering.
Scratching out hard-packed gravels from cracks and boil holes with my original Baz crevicing tool. The tools I make now are a direct result of the lessons I've learned, battle-hardening and evolving them to get it right.
Next batch just now taken through some normalising processes to relieve structural stress introduced by forging. Once relieved, hardened and into the oven for the final stage, tempering.
QED PL2, trim, taught and terrific!
^^^ That doesn't look dirty enough!!
Out of the six just out of the oven, I have one left.
Looks like Baz needs to make another batch.
From today, anyone who wants a crevicing tool - I just sold them all, so please give me a few days to make more. Cheers. Those who have already paid, they will be in the mail today. Baz.
Great service as usual.

Destructive/strength test on a thin offcut of spring steel I'm using for crevicing tools. I locked it in the vice, put a pipe over it and pulled as hard as I could. It didn't break and I ripped the bloody vice off it's bolts... (see damage on left)
12 more cut and dressed today, ready for forging.

That's bad luck Bazz-at least you proved the strength in the metal.
