How did you identify the Ruby? Ruby is one of those gems that, due to its value, always required careful testing, firstly through a 10X loop, if it's clear and without inclusions it is unlikely to be a Ruby, as a Ruby is an included gem, even the highest quality Rubies have some inclusions. Next step is an SG test, this will clarify a lot of things and bring you much closer to an identity. A quick test on a ruby is 365nm UV, they glow, Garnet doesn't and in the Orient, Garnets are often passed off as Rubies to unsuspecting buyers, the UV test is close to fool-proof.
A quick picture, garnet and ruby, quickly grabbed as an example. Doesn't matter what the rough quality is, they all glow.
The clarity and light from the Ruby concerns me, it is looking more like Garnet, the others I won't guess at as the image is not good enough to even get close to a suggestion.
