Hey gang, are those little gold wands any good?

Would they be good on their own for detecting nuggets in crevices, or is it better to use a detector coil?

Baz.

Generally they will only pick up big chunks, I've tried crevicing with minelab and garret pinpointers and only found 22 bullets and only when they are almost touching it.

hi ive got a gold digger land or sea mate ,leave it in the shop for gold ,got a dish with about 1 gram of 70# in it, put pin pointer in the dish on top of the gold it is as quiet as a church mouse 2 to 3 gram nugget,s ok, coins/relics 8" to 12" depth depending soil type
