I like to collect the odd old coin and thought it would be interesting to see what old coins or medallions people have .

My earliest is an 1867 penny turned into a medallion. Not by me.Well before my time.

A 1915 penny that looks like it went to war .

And a very old Eureka medallion that has little bit of green in it from the copper. The colour of the medallion really shows it`s age.

Heatho. I see you did my trick and hit the cartwheel when digging it out. Bugger! But they still are an amazing coin to find. Great Work!

Yeah I wasn't impressed with myself Scoopa, the ground was really hard and I was trying not to make too big a hole, I really wasn't expecting it to be a coin.
 
Strange it has no text around the outside. Perhaps a medallion of a club?
What's on the other side? May we see?

I found this Chinese coin in Adelaide hills Went to a coin shop n he said at least 500 yrs old or maybe older.To find out need to find someone ( preferably 500 yr old chinaman)to underastand the writing But there were more than maybe 10 or more different writings so se
