Hi guys,
After a little help or a point in the right direction.
I think these are all zircons???i have a large container full with these being the bigger ones.

I've had a search around the site and seen some great cut stones etc wondering if there is a certain size to look out for that might be a starting point for cutting? Is it a case of bigger is better? These stones get caught in my mats when cleaning out the gold wash plant carpets. Not sure if i should keep collecting or if they are super common.

thanks in advance

Like all stones, the bigger and un-included the better. I like a touch of colour and them to be above 5ct

Might be worth grabbing a bucket and doing some grading

a good shape stone greater than, say 5mm, would be worth sorting into a potential cutter pile.

Would then do say, greater than 10mm

Then greater than 15mm

Anything less than 5mm I would sort based on good shape and colour

Colour sorting would be the step

10mm would be considered a good sized stone
