ML 505 coil standard only please

My 505 has a broken EAR or tab on the top of the coil.

So I am looking for a replacement at a fair price.

could be worth asking a plastic fabrication biz if they reckon they can plastic weld a tab back on there!

Compatible with low frequency (LF) 3kHz coils as well as medium 7kHz and high frequencies 18.75kHz. The LF coil option is ideal for hunting large, deep targets. All X-TERRA Coils can be used on the X-TERRA 505.

so you might be able to pick 1 up off a 305 or 705
might even be just as cheap to pick up a 2nd hand 305 detector for spare shaft & coil if one comes up

Phase has has a 6" 705 coil for $95 saw it on a post today, see if I can find it and post.

I will call Nenad anyway as he is also a ML dealer, and very helpful.

ML service did suggest a repair similar to welding so I wil chase that too, never know it might work and be better than new.
