Hi Guys, Being a new'b this is my first post... has any members any personal info about the old gold mines and or gold in general around the Coolongolook area which dates back to the 1880's. I think there in the state forest Coolongolook any input will be most welcome. Thanks

Hi there so when you go past the mine that someone was working follow the trail straight up the ridge go on top where it flattens out there is a mine shaft that goes from one side of the hill to the other side walk down the right hand side where it comes out is caved in. I have logged that area many years ago cheers
