Had a good day out and about up Tilligery and managed to score a feed.
Released a few others and lost a cracking fish after a 5 minute fight.
A few squid, a couple of blue swimmer crabs, 4 shovel nosed rays and saw a big turtle.

A great day out on the calm waters and tomorrow heading out to the FAD for a crack at a few dollies and maybe a beakie might show its snout

Best tasting sea fish ever.
Nice catch Billy.
On the barby they go.

Thanks Flower, they are one of my favourites :Y: (although technically, these were caught in an estuary/creek). ;)

Beer batter this time, but will have to try the BBQ method next. :drooling:

Its nearly time for me to go chase some flattes am getting excited , the boat is in getting serviced pick it up tomorrow, throw in a few rods and head off Thursday morning to Port Welshpool for a few days. will be chasing flathead , squid and gummy sharks on the tide change and hopefully a kingy if Im lucky like last year . Will be mainly chasing the flatties they get real big, ive had them up to 85 cm but of course all the big breeders go back its the smaller ones that taste the best. Great spot down there always manage to bring home a good feed .
Cheers Booney.
