Well I dont feel like paying $150 for a shovel then the same for a pickaxe. .
Will be needing a general kit for all sorts detecting.

So far my kit is.
Gpx 4500
Nox 800
Garrett at pro pointer
Ordered a ebay special finds pouch.

So Im after a
pick/mattock
Shovel (Maybee)
Trowel
Do aussies use coin probe things.

Do bunnings tools go ok?
Or do dedicated tools really make the difference.
 
A proper detecting pick will do all that is needed for gold recovery, tipping them on their side to pull dirt back into the hole gives the a advantage over bunnings tools , if your coin treasure hunting in lawns and parks a smaller cutting digging tool allows you to replace the grass clod back neatly and without leaving a mess.
