Hi all just wondering what you average find per trip is have kept a tally on mine and works out to one piece every eight trips not real good I must be going to the wrong place or doing something wrong lol or both .PP

1/4 of a gram on average sluicing....Usually takes around 6hrs..10 to 12 x 20ltr buckets of unclassified gravel/ clay...From gympie gpa..Dam hard work for little reward..But I love it.. :lol: :beer:

I think that just being out there away from the city and home is enough reward for me when I am able to get out there. The sunrise, sunset, food cooked in the open air, the bonding or re-bonding with family members(even the wife) pays enough dividends for the outing.

some go no about the price of the equipment we use I think its cheap for the reward of your statement well said jaros :Y:

I average about 1 gram per trip, I go out about once or twice a week maybe 8 to 10 hours digging.
I got a zed 18mounths ago have only come home without gold about a dozen times.
