Can anyone id this for me ?

Hi .
I found this item while detecting up here in Hill End a few days ago.
Has anyone got any idea what it might be?

A couple of suggestions so far have been a small magnifying glass frame and a resealable bottle top.

I would say it is a magnifying glass framethat has interchangeable lens much the same as this one

Hi, found this little glass magnifying lens near Ophir back in 1983: always wondered what happened to the other part of it.
:rainbow: The lens is about x6 which would have been useful at least.

it does appear to be a monocle with the hole for it to hang off a chain.
