Yes, definitely worth reading. I recommend everyone does it, and shares it with all their friends and family who are likely to encounter snakes.

My workplace (a pest control business) has used Barry for several snake jobs now - he knows his stuff!

Great post RM. :Y:

Dam can not print it from my mobile phone

Can not remember my pass word on here , so can not go to the library to print it,

Thanks for the post RM, seriously good info there.

It's clear to me now that I would have done all the wrong things. :awful:

Jump up and down in a frothing panic,
Remove the victims clothing over the bite,
shake the limb, cut the bite, squeeze the venom out,
bandaged so bloody tight the limb would likely strangle,
make the patient walk or run to the car so they could drive to the hossy quick smart.
Wrestle the snake into the car to take for id as well.

Great read Rob! I've sent it to my kids.

That's the best thing any of us could do :Y: share it with family and friends also work colleagues. Or in your case being retired mate colleagues become mate's or an old acquaintance either way share it with everyone :trophy: :Y:.

I'll put the article up in pictures rather than type but I'll be a while got a bit on for the next few hours.

Thanks you RM Outback

Goody :)

Just a little hint,

If you got bitten by a snake ... When you get to the hospital,

they will ask where or what part of the body was you bitten?

You will be in bit of a panic, you will point and say there,

I have found the best way to keep track of where it is,

When you are putting the bandages on, put a mark ever couple of turns with the bandage,

It makes it easy for them in the Emergency department,

most of the time they like to keep the bandages on, so they cut around where it is marked, to be able to keep the pressure on the rest of the limb ,

I always carry a black texture in my first aid kit, for that reason,

If I don't have snake bandages, I would use a crape bandage's,

This is not a reference to a book or anything,

It is just what I would do,

Goody :)
