3.5 carat Brazil Amethyst

A nicely-coloured Brazilian (not Lowmead) Amethyst in "Amethyst Shield" design. The stone is a very attractive mid-purple shade to the eye, weighs in at 3.55 carats and measures approximately 10mm from the base to the apex of the triangle. Note that this design has quite a deep pavilion and may stand a little high for a finger ring at this size - it's best use would be in a pendant, but as always that's only my opinion.
