Hi all. We just got our miners licences. So very new. We have no idea what we are doing but we will give it a try with our 12 year old gem obsessed son. Would love any tips or assistance in NE Victoria. TIA

For gems and gold look up Reedy Creek, Beechworth, Eldorado in the NE. Check out the pages through the forum with a search of those terms. I live in the area and would be happy to help with locals and techniques.

Thank you. We are heading out to Eldorado today. Would love any assistance. We have been following a guy in Facebook. Vo gus Prospecting so learnt a little from him. Off to find a pot of gold!

We had a fabulous day. Our son managed to find a crystal cluster within minutes. Had some fabulous help with an obviously wisely old prospector. He assisted us in finding gold and let us use his equipment ?. Even mabaged to find some agate. Great family day out. Pics once we extract it properly.
